Meet the Staff

Welcome. Mount Olivet Boys' Home of Jamaica

The fifteen (15) faithful staff of the Mount Olivet Boys' Home sustain the efforts and ensure that the boys are cared for, lead balanced lives, and are developed, protected, and well-rounded; and the staff undergoes training and development each year.

In February, 2018, the staff received training in “Conflict Resolution” from the Manchester Dispute Resolution Association, and “How to Manage Adolescent Boys with Behavioural Problems” from Professor Fred Hall of the University of Mississippi. In March, 2018, they were also trained by the Office of the Children’s Advocate, covering, “Child Justice Guidelines”, “Responsibilities of Caregivers”, and the “Child Care and Protection Act”. Further training will be offered to the staff later in “Customer Service” by the HEART Trust/NTA.

A wholehearted “Thank You” to the team at Mount Olivet Boys' Home for their outstanding work!
